Bricad Associates Sàrl was formed to provide advice and assistance to companies, particularly American and Scandinavian, wishing to expand their business in Europe.

The company, which is based at Route de Founex 16, 1296 Coppet, some 20 kilometres from Geneva, is registered in Switzerland (CHE-102.856.774).

The company's owner and CEO is Dag Richter who in recent years has worked extensively with health-focused investment firms, including HealthCap and HEALTHCAP VII SA (Lausanne), often appearing on boards or in advisory capacities.

He trained as an engineer and holds an MBA from the IMD Business School in Lausanne. He first worked for ASEA Brown Boveri before joining Battelle-Geneva and subsequently Alcan. After establishing Bricad in 1994, the company promoted the development and marketting of advanced materials and components in the automotive and health sectors. The experienced gained led to Bricad becoming business advisors in all life sciences' fields in areas ranging from investment, product strategy and market development.

The focus on business-to-business development in the life sciences sector continues to this day, notably with respect to innovation and advanced technologies for manufacturing processes and materials development.
